Last Thursday, I got dressed.
It's a special event these days.
I hang out in a select few pieces of clothing.
But last Thursday, I had to go to the mall.
So I showered, brushed my hair, and got dressed.
It was a good opportunity to snap some self-portraits.
What I wore: a long cotton dress and a cotton "vest" tied up above the belly
all made by... get this... my mother.
Thank goodness for a talented mother...
or else I'd be headed to the mall in XL sleep shorts and my husband's t-shirt.

I also got dressed over every day of the weekend. Shocking!
It was certainly a "getting dressed worthy" weekend since Phil and I were on our little getaway.

I love the baby bump! You pull it off with great style. :)
I am feeling your clothing woes! Even the XL sleep shorts and hubby's largest Ts aren't doing the job. I'm so grateful for a lovely and hand-made dress my friend made for my birthday (again, thank God for talented seamstresses!) and hubby patiently taking me to Haynes every time I gain 10 lbs. I live in dresses most of the time now. I am wondering what I will do once the weather turns colder? I do have a few cute fall maternity blouses I've been saving. :)
Best wishes,
Michelle

So Cute esther!!!! you are beautiful!!!
I loved this. It brought me right back to those last trimester days, or almost last trimester days where getting dressed WAS the event for the day. You are beautiful btw Esther. I'm getting so excited for you.
What a cutie!! I love that sweet dress your mama made! So fun :)
